Chromeo's Master Synth Collection

I've been grooving to Chromeo lately, and after combing the web for information I've found a great deal of information on their studio.  If you don't know Chromeo, they fit the bill of a synth band and have a great retro feel to them.  They balance pop with old school electronic 80s funk, and it works perfectly.  Here's a list of some of their gear:

Sequential Circuits DrumTraks
Roland R-70
Roland CR-78
Yamaha RX-5
Akai MPC-5000
Akai MPC-1000
Akai S950
Linndrum

SCI Six Trak
SCI Prophet 5
SCI Prophet T8
DSI Prophet 08
SCI Pro-One
MiniMoog
Moog Concertmate
Nord Modular
Moog Prodigy
Yamaha CP-80
Roland Juno 106
Roland Juno 60
Roland Vocoder
MicroKorg
Wurlitzer
Korg Monopoly
Yamaha DX100
And a few more!

Apparently most of the demos are started on the Sequential Circuits DrumTraks and the Wurlitzer.  A great collection of synths indeed.  They don't even use Logic or Ableton to write.  All the writing is done via Cakewalk, and they keep traditional stages of writing, tracking, mixing, and mastering all seperate.

This band really has some amazing work, so I suggest starting with the videos below, or the video I posted a few weeks ago.
